The sparks have run out for Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney.
In case you missed the big Hollywood couples story of the day, the "Poker Face" singer and Chicago Fire star have called off their engagement and broken up after nearly five years together.
"They want to keep it private," an insider shared with E! News. "It's heartbreaking."
And while the split is understandably upsetting to fans of the couple—especially loyal Fame Monsters—we can't help but acknowledge all of the good times the pair shared during their romance.
From unforgettable birthday celebrations to a special engagement, it's safe to say a majority of this relationship wasn't exactly a "Bad Romance."

July 2011: There was an instant connection when the pair was introduced on the set of Gaga's music video for "You and I." Taylor played Gaga's man candy in the six-minute long music video that now has more than 96 million views on YouTube alone. "We had a good time. I think there was chemistry," Taylor once shared on Watch What Happens Live. "I remember it was a late shoot. We were shooting until 4 or 5 in the morning or something like that. We exchanged information. A few weeks went by and we kept in touch, and then that's that."
December 29, 2011: After months of speculation and presumed coupledom, the Hollywood pair finally went public with their romance. Photographers spotted the pair with their arms around each other as they enjoyed a walk in Southern California.
August 7, 2012: Hot damn alert! In a picture simply captioned as "T and Me," Gaga was spotted skinny-dipping with her boyfriend in a cerulean blue pool. For those who don't recall, Gaga played a mermaid in her electric music video for "You and I." Clearly, love must have been in the water.

December 26, 2013: The "Do What U Want" singer told Fashionmagazine that even though the journey has been "hard," she has "found love" with Taylor. "When you meet someone that's not intimidated by the amazing people that are around you [or] by the love that you receive—that's love," the Grammy winner told the publication. "Men weren't always happy for me. It was very challenging to watch a woman be so successful."
December 7, 2014: In a rare joint red carpet appearance, the couple turned heads at the 37th Annual Kennedy Center Honors in Washington, D.C.
February 16, 2015: He put a ring on it! Two days after one of the most romantic days of the year, the singer announced she wasengaged with a photo of a heart-shaped diamond engagement ring. "He gave me his heart on Valentine's Day and I said YES!" she wrote.
February 25, 2015: Shortly after getting engaged and stealing the 2015 Oscars with her tribute to the Sound of Music, Gaga stopped by the set of Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. to celebrate her new relationship status. "#wcw @LadyGaga, naturally. She SLAYED the #Oscars and now she's snuggled up with the #ChicagoFam celebrating love," Sophia Bush captioned on social media. "'The Oscars were amazing, but this!? This is everything. Oh #TaylorKinney you're a lucky man!! #Love #Congrats."
January 8, 2016: How's this for an unforgettable cover? Who can forget when the couple posed on the floor naked for V Magazine, which is covered by a paint canvas. "Since we first met, Taylor's been drawing and painting all over me," Gaga wrote in her editor's letter for the issue. "Years ago, when we were secretly living in San Diego and crashing on the floor of a beach shack, we never wore shoes. He told me he wanted to make love to me on a canvas." Spoiler alert: his dream came true.

March 26, 2016: The pop star celebrated her birthday at the No Name club in Hollywood with Taylor. A source shared with E! News that the couple packed on the PDA during the celebration. Taylor Swift even stopped by for a special performance. Kate Hudson,Chrissy Teigen and Nick Jonas were also in attendance for the star-studded bash.
July 19, 2016: Multiple sources confirm to E! News that the Hollywood couple called it quits. Last week—on Taylor's birthday—his fiancée was photographed without her engagement ring. When she performed at an orphanage in Mexico earlier this week, the ring was again missing. Both parties have not commented and it's unclear who initiated the split.

Pretty Woman, Runaway Bride director Garry Marshall dead at 81

Writer-director Garry Marshall died Tuesday in a hospital in Burbank, Calif., of complications from pneumonia after having a stroke.
Writer-director Garry Marshall died Tuesday in a hospital in Burbank, Calif., of complications from pneumonia after having a stroke.
Marshall's talents as a writer-producer made him a powerhouse for an entire era of sitcoms in the 1970s and 80s, including Happy DaysMork & MindyThe Odd Couple and Laverne & Shirley, which starred his sister Penny.
Think Robin Williams, who was new on the scene in 1978 when he starred as Mork on Mork & Mindy. Or Ron Howard, who most people now know as a star director but whose initial claim to fame was playing Richie Cunningham on Happy Days.
Once estimating he'd churned out 1,000 sitcom episodes, Marshall wasn't just responsible for creating hit shows, but launching actors' careers as well.

With that gruff tone and New York accent, Marshall held his own on screen as well. He appeared on the series Murphy Brownwith Candice Bergen, in the 1991 comedy Soapdish with Sally Field and Robert Downey Jr. and also provided a guest-appearance voice for The Simpsons as shady zoo owner Larry Kidkill during the show's 11th season.
Despite those brusque roles, Marshall was considered a sweetheart in real life by almost anyone who worked with him. That might explain why many A-listers, including Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson and Jessica Biel, starred in multiple Marshall-directed films.
"He's the grandpa everyone wishes they had," Jennifer Aniston told the CBC in April at the red carpet premiere in Los Angeles of Marshall's film Mother's Day.
At the same event, Marshall joked that his film sets often felt like reunions with famous actors because "if you pay them, they come!"
"We all get together and do what we love, which is make movies," he told CBC News at the Hollywood premiere. Marshall happily spent time chatting with reporters and had a warm sense of humour.
Richard Gere, who starred opposite Roberts in Pretty Woman and Runaway Bride, said that "everyone loved Garry."
"He was a mentor and a cheerleader and one of the funniest men who ever lived," Gere said in a statement Tuesday. "He had a heart of the purest gold and a soul full of mischief. He was Garry."
Marshall was born in New York City's The Bronx. He earned a degree in journalism from Northwestern University and worked at the New York Daily News. But he found he was better at writing punchlines.
He began his entertainment career in the 1960s selling jokes to comedians, then moved to writing sketches for The Tonight Show with Jack Paar in New York.
Marshall wrote scripts for some of the best comedies that decade, including The Lucy Show and The Dick Van Dyke Show, before eventually creating his own.

Marshall's other film credits include The Flamingo Kid (1984), starring Matt Dillon, Overboard (1987), starring Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn, The Princess Diaries (2001), starring Anne Hathaway and the star-studded 2010 romantic comedy Valentine's Day.
Despite his many successful television shows and several Emmy nominations, Marshall never won the coveted primetime award.
He got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1983 and was inducted into the Academy of Television Arts & Science's Hall of Fame in 1997 for his contributions to the industry.
Many people who got their start on Marshall's movies and sitcoms, including Henry Winkler who played Fonzie on Happy Days, shared their condolences and gratitude, on social media.
Thank you for my professional life," Winkler posted on Twitter shortly after the announcement of Marshall's death.

"Thank you for taking a chance on me," Sarah Paulson posted on Twitter late Tuesday. Paulson starred in Marshall's 1999 film The Other Sisterand is most recently known for her roles in 12 Years a Slave and American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson.

"Marshall hired me at 15 years old," Parks and Recreation and The West Wing star Rob Lowe tweeted. "He gave my wife her start at 18, as a makeup artist. He changed our lives."

Marshall is survived by his wife, Barbara, and the couple's three children, Lori, Kathleen and Scott.

Khloe Kardashian is explaining why she went after Chloe Grace Moretz on Twitter.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 32, and the actress, 19, got into a bit of a Twitter war Sunday night after Moretz seemingly criticized Kim Kardashian for releasing the footage of Taylor Swift and Kanye West having a discussion about "Famous" prior to its release.
"Everyone in this industry needs to get their heads out of a hole and look around to realize what's ACTUALLY happening in the REAL world," Moretz wrote late Sunday. "Stop wasting your voice on something so petulant and unimportant."
Insulted for her older sister, Khloe responded to the teenage actress with two photos: one of Chloe looking off into the distance in a bikini and the other of a blond woman with her back turned to the camera being carried in the ocean on someone's back. In the latter shot, the woman's butt is exposed when the man carrying her accidentally pulls at her red bikini bottom. "Is this the a hole you're referring to @ChloeGMoretz ???" she tweeted.

Chloe responded to the E! star by telling her she mistook her for someone else, and Ruby Rose also chimed in to defend theNeighbors 2 actress. "Yo Khloe I thought you were rad when I met you but this is awful and this is a 19 year old girl," Rose tweeted.

"Refrain from commenting on my family and OUR business (and I will do the same). Now I hope everyone has a magical Monday! May peace be with you all."
Other stars, including Selena GomezZendayaDemi Lovato,Martha Hunt and more have made it clear whose side they are on in the escalating battle by either speaking out on social media or going the quiet route and subtly favoriting tweets and photos that skew in favor of Taylor or Kim.

Kim Kardashian West hopped onto Snapchat to defend her husband Kanye West's honor tonight, posting a series of videos that prove Taylor Swift gave West permission to rap about her on infamous
In the footage posted on Snapchat, West asks Swift for permission to use a version of the line over the phone from his studio. She gives her consent and thanks him for bringing the line to her before recording and releasing it. It's still unclear just how much Swift knew about the ultimate phrasing of the line, but it's obvious she agrees its sentiment is acceptable. (If you'd rather read than watch,
At the beginning of this year, Swift and West had almost entirely reconciled after he famously interrupted her at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. That all changed when West released "Famous" and the rest of. in February. Swift sent out a statement condemning the line and West's misogyny a few days after it was first played in public, and West used a series of tweets  to claim that Swift had approved the line well before it was released. When she won the Grammy for Album of the Year a few days later.

Power season 3: Everything you need to know about it

3:53:00 PM
Power Season 3 Preview
Power season 3

Nevermind Jamie and Angela: The true heartbreak in Power‘s upcoming third season belongs to best-friends-turned-enemies Ghost and Tommy.
“Part of the journey of the characters this season is about finding their relationship in a new place,” showrunner Courtney Kemp tells TVLine during a set visit in February. The Starz drama is filming on location at a diner in New York’s Meatpacking District; earlier, as Kemp watched a scene play out from behind a video monitor in a darkened corner of the eatery, two characters had a very frosty, very brief conversation that abruptly ended with one of them exiting the restaurant in a huff.
Telling you who was involved, even as chill-by-Power-standards as the scene was, would be a spoiler — given that the series’ stakes remain as high going into Season 3 as they were in 1 and 2. James St. Patrick, played by Omari Hardwick, may think he’s out of the drug game for good, but that doesn’t mean everyone in his life sees things the same way. At the top of that disgruntled list? His former right-hand man, Tommy, who aims to fill Ghost’s considerable vacancy in Lobos’ operation.
Power Season 3 2016
Power season 3
“Tommy is no longer under Ghost’s sway in the way that he was,” the executive producer continues over coffee at a café near the day’s shoot, acknowledging that the two men likely will never be completely able to quit each other. “This is fraternal love. It’s not romantic, but the idea that you love someone as your family, no matter what they do.”

Indeed, the premiere finds Tommy “really, really at odds” with Ghost, Joseph Sikora says, “and that’s not changing.” In fact, when we ask whether the two men will continue their push-pull for the foreseeable future, Sikora smiles. “That’s if Tommy survives the whole season,” he teases. “Yeah, it’s a possibility.”
Kemp isn’t any more reassuring. “There is a lot of death this season,” she says, noting that “several major” fatalities happen “in a row” in the episodes to come. But at the same time, “There is a lot of romance, a lot of sex this season. There are a lot of conversations about the meaning of love.” She laughs. “I am always trying to get some cool philosophical stuff in there while blowing s–t up.”
Which brings us to Ghost/James/Jamie and his Asssistant United States Attorney girlfriend Angela, who seem like they’re in a good place as the premiere begins but who are still keeping big secrets from each other: He doesn’t know Greg has made her his target, she doesn’t know what went down between Jamie and 50 Cent’s Kanan (who, as the premiere starts, is still MIA and presumed dead). “The moment he finds out what she is and she finds out what he is, they should just say, ‘It’s been nice. I will meet you to f–k every occasional Tuesday, [but] this cannot work,'” Kemp adds. “But they aren’t those people.”

In fact, says star Lela Loren, who plays the conflicted AUSA Valdes, the pair’s deal to ignore each other’s pasts might just be the thing that drives them apart in the end: “Love is really, in some ways, trying to experience and foster real intimacy with another human being. And at the top of the season, they’ve set up a bargain where that can’t even happen.”
“It’s a bad bargain,” Hardwick says later that day, during a break in filming. “Courtney has said that consistently, and I think she’s right.” But his character has even bigger problems, he adds: He’s starting to realize he can’t control every single detail of his life — his on-the-books nightclubs, his highly suspicious wife Tasha (Naturi Naughton), his sneaking feeling that someone is gunning for him hard — and that worries him. Greatly.
